The Latest

Hannah and Kate had a 3 day camping trip with George's parents and sister so the little cutie below and I had some time to ourselves (kinda).  It's not like I did anything relaxing.  I worked on the house a lot, touching up paint that has been sitting that way for 7+ months.  And my goal is to get it completely finished before Reagan's birthday party in just a little over a month.  Can you believe that she is going to be a year old in a month?  And she is very close to walking.  She has taken several steps consecutively and is getting braver about walking between objects, but most of her travel is still done by crawling.  She loves to climb on things, such as the dishwasher and in the little car in the bottom most pictures.

This pictures are of Hannah and Kate proudly showing off their NICU visitor stickers.  I'll soon write a post about the NICU support group.  I know many of you have been praying and would like to know how it's going.  It's really not going, but I'll give you my thoughts on that soon, hopefully.  They got to ride ponies for the very first time on their camping trip.  And I just found out today that they are eligible for VPK in August.  VPK is our state's free (FREE!!!) preschool for 4 year olds entering kindergarten the next year.  I had really debated since the cutoff date is their birthday and all of their friends from church (including Rachel) won't be entering school until the following year, but I think holding them back a whole year would just cause a lot of boredom.  I've contacted a preschool that has been voted the best in Brandon for several years and is a mile from our house.  While I would love to put them in our church's preschool program, we just cannot afford that for two children.  I am going to tour the preschool next week!

The guard at the hospital put on the name tags, "Little Lady" for Kate and "Littler Lady" for Hannah.  I thought that was cute!

Other than that, I have a pulled back muscle that has kind of put me out for several days now.  I'm hoping it gets better soon so I can return to the gym and just doing normal stuff, but being the only one able to care for our children during the day is setting my recovery time back.  I am also working on passport applications for all 5 of us because we have a trip planned to Canada in June.  We actually have several trips planned over the next several months, but this will be the only international one.
