The Seven P's

1) Princess Puzzles-Hannah and Kate can do puzzles all by themselves now and I am so proud of them!  It also gives them something to do that doesn't require me to be directly helping them.  Hannah has a slight edge over Kate.  Kate is too much like her mama.  She gets frustrated so easily and wants to give up, but with a little encouragement, she finishes.

2) Preschool-Hannah and Kate have been accepted into preschool for next year.  I really debated on whether or not to put them into VPK (voluntary pre-kindergarten) because that would mean they would be starting kindergarten the next year.  I think that they are definitely ready, but I thought it would be neat for them and Rachel to be at the same grade in school.  The cutoff date for our school district is Sept. 1st.  So they barely meet it by 5 minutes.  I decided to go ahead and do it though because I just think that holding off school would cause them to be bored at home.  And I do have to admit that I am looking forward to having some time with Reagan alone in the mornings.  In the great state of FL, VPK is free.  We picked a preschool that came highly recommended from several people.  It is a great school and after touring it last week, me and the girls are super excited for next year.  All of the paperwork is turned in and they are officially paper-ready for next school year.  Because they must be potty-trained for preschool...that brings us to our next P.

3) Potty-training-Hannah has worn big girl panties for the last 3 days with no accidents!!!!  We have been putting very little effort into this process so I think the real motivation came from wanting to go to preschool.  George and I are beyond ecstatic and so very proud of her!  She is one stubborn little girl and she had to wait until she wanted to.

4) Pitter Patter-that is the sound that fills our house everyday now.  Reagan is a full-fledged walker.  It is still a little foreign to look down and see this little pint size girl come walking into the room.  With that comes a mischievous and curious spirit, but no big messes or accidents thus far.

5) Publix-I went to Publix yesterday and spent $23.00, but saved $94.00!  Let's just say that if George needed to work the next eight weeks straight with no sleep, we would have enough coffee to keep him energized!  You can't beat good coffee (although George says it is a tiny step down from Dunkin' Donuts) for $1.50 a bag.

6) Passports-$500 later and they are all sent off!  I am so glad the paperwork and stress of that is over!  Hopefully, they are accepted with no problems and we are able to take a fun vacation to Canada this summer.

7) Praise-I'll let Hannah and Kate explain...
Have a wonderful Easter!
