Mommy's Helpers

I have so much to do this week before we leave for St. Louis. One of the things on my long to-do list is clean the house. These two little helpers love to walk behind me and re-dust what I just dusted. They are so proud to be helping mommy. It was so cute that I had to stop and snap a couple of pictures.

Kate

I'm honestly not sure who this is. I thought it was Kate at first, but I don't know anymore. Aren't you glad you don't have identical twins and can correctly label your pictures?

Hannah

Hannah

"Oh sissy, we are so going to be in trouble. Mommy is going to put this picture on her blog and Grandma is going to see it and know that we were playing with her pictures. Maybe if we run to the door when she gets home tonight and give her a big hug she'll forgive us."
Some of their new words are:
Kate-sissy, bye bye, tractor, purple, waffle...and I can't remember the rest. She loves to repeat what you say.
Hannah-she likes to say the first syllable of words-yay (as she claps for herself)
We also had a really busy weekend. Sarah and I took the girls to the Florida Aquarium. We quickly strolled through the aquarium part and spent about 45 minutes out in the water area. The girls loved it. We will definitely be frequenting that more often. George, the girls, and I also took a boat out to Beer Can Island this weekend with some friends and hung out on the beach for a couple of hours. This was the girls first time on a boat. Their little life jackets swallowed them, but they were adorable. I only have pictures on my cell phone so you'll have to ask me to see them. This was also the first time we've been to the beach in over a year. They loved playing in the sand and also ate quite a bit of it. Hannah really liked the water. She is brave and independent. She'll just keep walking into the water until she gets knocked over by a wave. Kate, on the other hand, walked into knee deep water and cried when Daddy went to put stuff on the boat. She thought we were leaving her behind. I fall more in love with these little girls all the time. I'm not saying it's easy, but it's definitely an adventure full of excitement!
