Here's the birth story. I started having contractions 2 a.m. on Friday morning. We went to the hospital at 9:30 and after walking around for two hours and only being 1 cm dilated, they sent us home. Well, my contractions weren't letting up so we went back to the hospital at 5:30 and I had progressed to 4 cm. And my pain was progressing as well. I immediately asked for an epidural once they admitted me. However, I had to wait about two hours before I was on the top of the list. Whoo...those were not a fun two hours nor was the epidural process fun. Apparently I had a tight back with very little fat so I had to be poked several times. It was well worth it. I felt nothing after that! It's easy having a baby when you don't feel anything.
Congratulations George and Lauren! You have a beautiful family. God has blessed you tremendously. Glad to hear you got the epidural. I had it with my second, and it does make things easier!
